For fiction, my aim is the same, and I will provide whatever is necessary to achieve that result, from general editorial suggestions to line edits. I will write, re-write, and edit behind a client to present the best possible pitch to editors. For nonfiction, I will often brainstorm with clients who have the requisite knowledge and platform but aren’t sure how to harness that into a saleable concept. Yet somehow they did, until Amy dumped him. Craig is an awkward, Dungeons & Dragons-playing geek, and Amy is the beautiful, fiercely intelligent student-body president of their high school. Amy and Craig never should’ve gotten together. I relish working one on one with authors. The worst thing that’s ever happened to Craig is also the best: Amy. He is also the author of GIRL PARTS and CHERRY MONEY BABY (Candlewick Press), as well as a regular speaker at writers’ conferences.
